Catalog description

An introduction to all aspects of plant biology including the anatomy and development of flowering plants, the physiological mechanisms that regulate all plants, and a comparative survey of the reproduction, ecology, and structure of algae, fungi, bryophytes, gymnosperms, and angiosperms presented in a phylogenetic context. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 required (grade of C or better strongly recommended); CHEM 111 recommended. When Offered: Fall and Spring semesters. Lecture/Lab Three lecture and three laboratory hours each week.
