Catalog description

This course, along with BIOL 111, functions as part of a two-semester series intended to cover the major fundamental principles of life. Emphasis in the course is on biodiversity, organismal biology, ecology, and the influence of biotic and abiotic interactions on living systems. Principles of evolution are integrated throughout. Intended for BIOL/ENVS majors but open to all. When Offered: Fall and Spring Lecture/Lab Three lecture and three laboratory hours each week.
