Placement of advanced criminal justice majors in community-based agencies for career development. Involves frequent contact with faculty supervisor and off-campus supervisor evaluation. May be repeated for a total of 6 hours credit. Internship 3 hours. 023* HOMELAND SECURITY 3 credit hours This course is an analysis of terrorism and how our criminal justice and homelan d security systems deal with this problem in both the national and international arenas. The course includes the discussion of definition, structure, causes, methods, treatment/prevention of terrorism, and coping with hostage situations.
