This course is designed for candidates who are preparing to teach world languages in secondary school settings in California public schools. candidates will learn about current theoretical bases for second-language acquisition and how such theories inform classroom practice. Candidates have introductory opportunities to practice principles of learning from which teachers can draw as they make decisions about instruction. Lecture Discussion and simulation.
