Catalog description

Students prepare culminating experience project elements within parameters prescribed by the instructor that will be continued and completed in SWRK 502 . All students, alone or in pairs, complete a problem statement & literature review (relevant to their topic and practice specialization), select a research strategy or evaluation method, and prepare a written prospectus, i.e. proposal for their culminating experience project. When applicable students submit an IRB Application. Course content may include information literacy, culturally informed, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive research approaches, research ethics, identifying bias, and research dissemination.
