Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of key statistical methodologies essential for analyzing health data. Students will develop a strong foundation in probability distributions, regression models, sampling methodologies, and experimental design, with a focus on applications in public health, clinical research, and epidemiology. The course also covers advanced statistical inference techniques, including analysis of variance (ANOVA) and survival analysis, to support evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. Through case studies and hands-on data analysis, students will learn how to interpret and apply these statistical methods to real-world health data problems.
