Catalog description

This course will focus on the clinical systems used in patient care and the data standardization needed to exchange and share health records. The focus of this course is on how health information can be communicated and shared throughout a patient's journey. Students will learn how to apply health data standards in a comprehensive and seamless way for electronic health record data sharing, data mining, statistical collection of health data, quality data management, report generation and health data project management.
