Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles and techniques of health data visualization, with an emphasis on effectively communicating public health data. Students will learn to clean, analyze, and visualize data using software tools, creating a variety of static and interactive visualizations, including charts, graphs, and maps. The course will also explore data storytelling strategies to convey meaningful insights to diverse audiences. Through hands-on exercises and projects, students will develop practical skills in visualizing health data to support public health research, policy, and decision-making.
