Catalog description

Covers methods related to single-case research (i.e., data collection, logic, designs). Course content is based primarily on contemporary books and articles from peer-reviewed journals. Topics include measurement of behavior; methods of assessing inter-rater agreement; experimental design including reversal designs, changing-criterion designs, alternating treatments designs, and multiple-baseline designs; and displaying and interpreting behavioral data. Current methodological issues will be discussed. The course fulfills the Graduate Writing Intensive (GWI) requirement. 3 units.
