Catalog description

Presents an overview of contemporary theory and research in the study of culture, race, ethnicity, and the human mind and behavior. Topics may include diversity science, cultural neuroscience, racial and ethnic identities, prejudice, and discrimination. Particular emphasis will be placed on cultural, social, and economic considerations that affect the behavior and adjustment of individuals and groups. We will examine selected lines of research across sub-specializations in psychology to better understand the psychological processes of people in diverse societies.
