Catalog description

This course develops knowledge and skills in empirical research methods as applied to program evaluation. Students gain and practice skills needed to assist community service providers, state agencies, and other organizations to evaluate and improve programs and interventions. Students design program evaluation proposals that utilize psychological research techniques to support organizational effectiveness. Students learn to tailor program evaluations to the mission of an organization or purpose of an intervention, such as the promotion of social justice, well-being, and/or other goals.
