Catalog description
This course develops historically informed critical and creative thinking by examining the history and heritage of the U.S. Army and the profession of arms. Students study the evolution of military art and science, including combined arms warfare, while learning professional historical methods such as contextual analysis and interpretation of sources. Emphasis is placed on applying historical perspective to contemporary military challenges, strengthening students' ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions in professional military contexts.
