This course introduces students to the strategic applications of artificial intelligence in the sport and recreation sectors. Students will learn the basics of how AI works in an accessible way with no prior coding skills required. The class examines how AI tools are used across a broad range of domains within sport and recreation. The course also emphasizes critical thinking about the ethical and managerial implications of AI, preparing students to interpret AI outputs, address issues like data privacy and fairness, and effectively integrate AI innovations. 3 units. Pre-requisite: KINS 102 .
