Catalog description

This course helps students develop writing skills for fashion and creative industries, emphasizing how disciplinary needs determine the audience, purpose, and professional voice. Through technical writing, data storytelling, and critical media analysis, students learn to support, organize, and produce clear, focused texts applicable to work in fields such as fashion production (addressed in FASH 131 , 134 ), retail management (addressed in FASH 136 ), fashion marketing AND branding (addressed in FASH 134 , 146 ), and upper-division writing courses (e.g., FASH 137 ).
