This course is designed to provide practical experience with materials, classroom management strategies and methods necessary to successfully teach Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS)/Home Economics Careers and Technology (HECT) at the secondary level. Teacher candidates will become acquainted with legislation, standards, teaching strategies, resources, research and student leadership programs.
