This course examines the historical, social, cultural, political, and economic experiences of Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NHPI). As a community centered course, it focuses on NHPI activism, advocacy, cultural continuance, and revitalization in the Pacific and its diasporas during the 19th- 21st centuries.
