ENGL 96A is a 1-unit Smart Start course for baccalaureate credit designed to prepare students to succeed in GE A2 in their first year. Working independently and collaboratively, students will use an inquiry-based approach to learning through research, reflection, and engagement with real world scenarios. Students will develop various academic literacies in order to understand the conventions of written communication required for success in a college setting.
