Catalog description

This course introduces the study of the human population, including changes in population size and composition as affected by population trends related to changes in birth rates, health and mortality trends, and migration patterns within the United States. Additionally, using sociological analysis, this course discusses various social inequalities within the United States as causes and consequences of population change.
