Catalog description

This course draws upon multidisciplinary information regarding psychological well-being in later life. Topics include definitions of mental health and psychosocial well-being among the elderly, emotional and behavioral challenges in the later life-span, family relations, health and economic considerations, and diagnostic and intervention principles. Recommended: PSYC 3270 and PSYC 3430 .
