Catalog description

This course will introduce students to a historical perspective of the major trends and schools of thought in psychology. Students will be covering topics including the philosophical and physiological roots of psychology, early scientific psychology, and applications and social agendas in past and modern psychology. Throughout our exploration of these topics, students will be given opportunities to think about the historical contributions to modern research and theories. Course is Lecture and Discussion, with in-class activities.
