Catalog description

An introduction to Physics and its subfields and the Physics curriculum. Emphasis on study skills, problem solving, and mathematical tools used in Physics. Emphasis on statistical methods and error analysis. A challenge problem will be presented, and a laboratory experiment will be performed. Includes seminars by guest speakers. Primarily for Physics majors but may be taken by others interested in the sciences or Engineering.
