Catalog description

This course focuses on disease processes and defines relationships between human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology. The genetic and acquired risk factors across the life span resulting in pathophysiologic alterations will be discussed. Acute and chronic alterations will be identified. The basis for treatment of disease states across the lifespan will be discussed using a systems approach.
