This course focuses on theoretical concepts and principles related to the health care of children and adolescents. Major health issues that influence growth and development from infancy through adolescence, health assessment, health promotion, prevention of illness, and therapeutic interventions are evaluated with the child and family as the focus of care. 150 minutes of lecture per week.
