Catalog description

Mediation and arbitration will be introduced as tools for resolving disputes. Active listening techniques will be discussed and practiced for improved listening skills. Conflict management in the workplace and public will be researched, analyzed, and reported on. These life-long learnings will be accomplished via case studies, exercises, and role plays while studying managerial behaviors and decision-making processes involved in conflict management. The culminating exercise is to arbitrate a public employment employee termination case.
