Algebra and geometry of vectors in two and three dimensions. Complex numbers. Matrices as linear transformations of R2 and R3. Rigid motions in two and three dimensions, their classification and matrix representations: Theory and classification of conic sections. Theory of perspective. Prerequisite: Post-baccalaureate Standing & Math 3000 Mathematical Foundations. (3 units lecture and 1 unit activity)
