Catalog description

An advanced course for prospective athletic trainers, coaches, physical educators, and exercise physiologists to provide knowledge and skill in the application and clinical decision-making processes for utilizing therapeutic modalities during rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on physiological mechanisms of tissue injury, inflammatory response, healing process and neurophysiology applied to musculoskeletal injuries and their treatment. Two units lecture/discussion; one unit lab. Lab fee required.
