Catalog description

This course is an introductory study of human physiological responses and adaptations to acute and chronic exercise. Emphasis is placed on relevant information; such as proper exercise to promote/ develop fitness, and its practical application in physical education, fitness, and athletic training settings. Three units of lecture/discussion; one unit of lab. Lab fee required.
