Catalog description

The course will include a study of the structural and functional components of the musculoskeletal system. An emphasis will be placed on the bony landmarks, muscle origin, insertion, actions, and innervations, applying this knowledge of understanding the role of different muscles in how we move. Integration of this knowledge will also be placed on the underlining mechanics in assessing and evaluation human and sport related motion. Three units of lecture/discussion; one unit of lab.
