Catalog description

This is an interval training course. Group cardiovascular conditioning. This class combines short (30 sec -2 min) bouts of high intensity exercise periods alternated with periods of rest (1-2 min). These higher/lower intensity periods are repeated several times during total class time using both lower and upper body muscle groups. This type of workout has been proven to improve cardiovascular fitness (aerobic) as well as speed, agility, and burn more total calories than the common steady state cardio (treadmill 30 min. at same speed). This method of training is suitable for all levels of exercisers. May be repeated up to a maximum of 8 units.
