Catalog description

This course is designed to help students learn and develop a basic understanding of basketball. The class will include instruction in the basic skills of dribbling, shooting, and passing and defensive positioning. The class will also cover tactical skills of basic basketball offensive and defensive play and well as the rules and scoring. May be repeated up to a maximum of 8 units.
