Catalog description

This course introduces students to the study of ethnicity, including its history in the academy and its methods of study. Drawing on multiple disciplines, students will examine frameworks for thinking about ethnicity and race, their intersections with other social categories such as gender, sexuality, class, religion, and disability, and their impact on diversity, discrimination and social mobility.
