Catalog description
This course introduces students to the academic study of gender and sexuality. Drawing on multiple disciplines such as communications, criminal justice, philosophy, psychology, religious studies, and sociology, students will examine multiple frameworks for thinking about gender and sexuality, their intersections with other social categories such as race, class, religion, and disability, and their differences across various social and cultural contexts.
