Catalog description

This course examines the political, social, ideological, and economic history of Revolutionary America and the Early Republic. Issues surrounding the Seven Years' War, the growing tensions between the British government and the American colonists in the wake of the war, the American Revolution, the United States' post-war efforts to maintain stability and cohesion, and the political conflicts and social changes that unfolded during the revolutionary era and in the Early Republic will be examined.
