Catalog description

The purpose of this class is to provide students with the training and skills necessary to serve as peer educators at the university level. Upon completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to become certified within the BACCHUS Network, a nationally recognized Peer Education Program offered through NASPA. In addition to the BACCHUS material, this course will cover a variety of health related topics including health and nutrition, stress, mental health, sexual responsibility, drug and alcohol abuse, disability awareness and healthy relationships.
