Catalog description

This class is designed to provide students who are interested in performing peer education services an opportunity to develop awareness, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. These skills will be utilized by the students to implement presentations and other outreach opportunities that will address stigma surrounding mental health concerns, suicide prevention, alcoholism, and body image.
