Catalog description

Introduction to applied geophysical methods including reflection and refraction seismology, gravity, magnetics, electrical resistivity, and electromagnetics. In addition to learning the principles behind each method, students will collect, process, and analyze geophysical data. A field trip may be required. 150 minutes of lecture and 150 minutes of lab per week. A course fee is required.
