Catalog description
A survey of the various kinds of mythical discourse throughout the world and the changing nature of `myth' itself. The recurrence of ancient myths in modern thought and literature is stressed. Mythology of the Greeks and Romans will be emphasized as found in Homer, Virgil, Ovid and other Classical writers.
