Introduction to the English Major with Credential Emphasis (EMCE), including an examination of the Subject Matter Requirements (SMRs) for Prospective English Teachers, the general education and major requirements of the EMCE program, electronic portfolios, and digital and media literacy. Provides students with an early field experience. Required for credential majors. Offered on a credit, no-credit basis only.
