Catalog description

This course will review the basic theories of curriculum and a variety of effective instructional strategies for teaching students with mild to moderate support needs in curricular content areas. Candidates will have opportunities to develop and implement appropriate curriculum and instructional strategies that reflect the adaptation and modification of the core curriculum to meet the unique needs of students with mild to moderate support needs by incorporating approaches such as universal design for learning, response to intervention, and evidence-based practices.
