Catalog description

An overview of the economic methods used to evaluate projects and real assets. Topics include financial math; investment criteria (present worth, annual equivalent worth, rate of return analysis); evaluating mutually exclusive alternatives; relative price movements and inflation; risk and uncertainty; cost minimization techniques such as equipment replacement analysis and cost-effectiveness analysis; after-tax analysis; project financing and capital constraints; and benefit-cost and cost-effectiveness methods.
