Catalog description

This course develops the main arguments in financial theory from an explicitly economic perspective. Financial economics involves the examination of the roles of time, uncertainty and information in economic transactions. This course analyzes financial institutions from a perspective of information theory. We consider the theories of decision-making under uncertainty and asymmetric information.
