Catalog description
This course examines environmental policy from the perspective of factors influencing sustainability and social responsibility (e.g., scientific, economic, cultural, political, ethical). This course is an introduction to environmental economics. Throughout the course we will consider the role of markets and government in analyzing and solving environmental issues. Students are expected to apply knowledge, methods, and principles of economics to environmental and natural resource issues.
