Catalog description

Introduce microprocessor architecture and organization. Cover bus architectures, types and buffering techniques, Memory and I/O subsystems, organization, timing and interfacing, Peripheral controllers and programming. Design a microprocessor system. Each week lecture meets for 150 minutes and lab meets for 150 minutes. There is a $10 course material fee.
