Catalog description

This course examines how governmental bodies-the legislature, administrative agencies, and courts-make criminal justice policy and how affected agencies and officials implement and assess these policies. Students will apply their learning of policymaking bodies and processes, implementation, and assessment to problems such as prison crowding and the handling of serious chronic juvenile offenders.
