Catalog description

Assumptions of scientific research and issues in philosophy of science. Examination of the relationship between theory and research within the field of Criminal Justice, with an emphasis on basic principles of research design, development of research instruments, and data collection, plus statistical analysis of data and familiarization with computer capability in Criminal Justice research. Prerequisites: PSYC 2018 or MATH 1209 or SOC 2208 .
