Seminar in Biochemical Literature ((3))

Catalog description

Students will develop expository and argumentative reading and writing skills for different rhetorical contexts, including researching the biochemical literature, reading, and writing an academic research paper on a biochemical topic. One-third of the course focuses on disciplined inquiry leading to self-discovery and self-knowledge. Courses contain frequent reading and writing assignments. 150 minutes of lecture/discussion. This course must be completed before enrolling in CHEM 4948 .
