Catalog description

This course will introduce students to basic laboratory techniques used in biochemistry. Students will analyze the effectiveness of different buffer systems, the effects of dilution on buffer capacity, learn different applications of polyacrylamide gels, measure enzyme kinetics, and evaluate the effect of reversible inhibitors on an enzyme. 300 minutes of laboratory per week.
