Catalog description

The practice and theory of chemical laboratory methods including techniques of gravimetric, volumetric, spectrophotometric analysis and separation, and introductory instrumental analysis with a focus on precision and accuracy of experimental data. It is strongly recommended that you retake CHEM 1100 (or equivalent) if you have not taken it within the last two years before starting CHEM 3100 . 150 minute of lecture/discussion and 300 minute of laboratory per week.
