This course introduces appropriate research techniques and computational technology for chemists. Topics include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), ChemDraw, SciFinder, interpreting the chemical literature, research ethics, data and error analyses, and scientific writing and presentations.100 minutes of lecture/discussion per week.
