Catalog description

Participation in chemistry-related service learning experiences that meet school and/or community needs. Beginning students will assist in the implementation of service learning projects. Advanced students will design and implement service learning projects. Schedule is negotiated by the student, instructor, and community partners. Offered on a credit, no-credit basis only. Interested students should contact the department office. May be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 12 units.
